You’re absolutely right, this is a great, fun, overlooked gem that I saw right when it came out too! Bears repeating that Kirk and Burt just have the best buddy chemistry in the movies I think, in any genre. Great pick to talk about and I hope people will discover it from your spotlight.
Sadly, it’s one of those titles that seems to have disappeared. Be a good title for Olive films or Anchor bay to pick up.
Like you, I saw it in theaters.I really enjoyed it! The audience looked like they were having a good time too.
I’m glad to see it turned up recently on blu ray after never getting a DVD release. I have it here on the shelf and will have give it a look. Should make for a fun revisit.
I rented on VHS and remember quite liking it but some 80’s macho action flick would of taken the shine of it in my young eyes. Now I know for sure, one hundred percent that I will appreciate it so much more now. Dropped in high on the to watch list for a fun matinee watch. Good YT video too there Mike.
