Theatrical Flashback : Now Playing October 11th 1952 … and then some…..

I love it when I locate an old newspaper to see what was playing at the local theater. In this case it’s a paper out of Brantford, Ontario Canada. A tough night out for the classic film fan but I know where my heart lies in these choices. Come on and join me in this wonderful flashback.

How about getting your favorite girl and heading out to see the latest adventure from Universal International starring their young stars in the making, Tony Curtis and Piper Laurie?

Looking for adventure? Then check out the latest Gene Autry western or maybe Wayne Morris with leading lady Virginia Grey and a couple of well known character players, Anthony Caruso and George Tobias.  Notice that Thursday night is Foto-Nite.

Grab your girl and head to the after midnight showing of Esther Williams in technicolor …..

I think I’ll call my own girlfriend and head over to the big screen showing of the latest film to feature the Duke and that fiery redhead who continues to capture my heart.

Sneak preview anyone? Red Skelton at the Capitol Sunday at midnight.

One of my favorite fifties leading men, Jeff Chandler,  taking to the screen in another adventure.
