I remember asking my Mother, “Is that the guy who plays Dracula?”
10 out of 10 on a Cagney quiz won me 2 passes. I think I was the only kid in the movie house.
2 key words hooked me:Ā LEE and MARVIN.
Love the cast in this and would like to see it again. Need a copy though. Anyone?
My first Eastwood viewing on the big screen. Clyde came as an added bonus.
McQueen’s farewell film.
Bugging my parents till they relented.
Then there was one I didn’t get in to see when asked for identification proving I was 18. A definite blow to my budding ego thinking I looked manly enough to watch an R rated flick with my favorite tough guy of the era……had to wait for video on this one.

I’ve seen all these, Mike. The only one I caught in the theater though was Airport 77.

Hi Colin and thanks for the lead. Silly that a made in Canada film can’t be found in it’s own homeland. Thought this a fun idea to relive the past. Will maybe do this posting occasionally.
Nice and inspiring post. I’m chuckling because I did see some of these and probably didn’t like them as much back then. But that’s Hollywood, I guess…
Films are fun to revisit and the experience of what you recall when seeing them the first time. Might be the film, who you went with etc,,,, Appreciate you spreading the word and nice to know maybe I have hit on something that others can run with.
