No this isn’t a look back at the Dudley Moore film from years ago or a remake either though I think the two us might be up for it.
No, it’s time for a fun photo op from a couple of crazy Canucks, Eh’
Have I raised him right? Only time will tell but I think Number 1 Son, Ethan is well on his way. Thought we’d have some fun here and share a pic of our collecting obsession. It seems every time I order some cool blu ray release, he tells me he did the same or beats me to it.
Notice he snagged that new Hard Times release with Charlie Bronson?
Yup, I do believe I raised him right.
Time to go, have to shift some titles around behind me to squeeze these new copies into alphabetical order in their proper place.
Happy collecting to you all and back tomorrow with another classic review.
Hey! Where the juggling act? You two are supposed to be tossing those discs back and forth like The Flying Karamazov Brothers!
Me, never but Ethan could probably master that. He’s a work out enthusiast and third degree black belt so I have to mind my manners. But then he’s great to have alongside of me should I get to thinking I’m as tough as Mr. Majestyk.
Great pic, buddy, and it looks like Ethan has definitely caught the movie bug – well done! And that’s one seriously impressive (and slightly daunting) array of movies filling up those shelves.
It’s a life long collection and the room is my hide away. Some guys build a bar in the basement, I took over a fourth bedroom and shelved it to death. You ever get to my corner of Canada, the door is open.
That’s hilarious Mike and Ethan. I love it.
Your best CGI ever.
lol. A chip off the old block is the saying I believe.
Most excellent picture 🙂
All good choices. And I actually watched Pieces last night.
Saw it years ago in what I assume was a heavily edited version in the days of the VHS tape.
I actually just watched it on Shudder. It’s an add-on subscription service for Amazon Video but they have a lot of hard to find old school horror stuff.
So wait…you two live in the same household, and you both bought all those movies without the other knowing it? Good lord, what does HIS movie room look like?
Vastly smaller. He’s into collector issued sets and stuff and has no DVD’s on the shelf. He’s a beginner. By the time I was his age I probably had 200 film posters tucked away. He’ll have a heck of a stock for a movies and memorabilia store if I kick the bucket and he decides to sell.
