I woke up this morning to see we have lost the great Eli. So many wonderful roles and he had a fantastic wit when interviewed. If you get the chance, read his autobiography or take the time to listen to him on the commentary segment of The Magnificent Seven. He makes it very enjoyable. I also got a great kick out of watching him as the bespectacled hit man Leon B. Little trying to gun down Kirk Douglas and Burt Lancaster in the 1986 comedy Tough Guys. So many fine roles out there to choose from with Tuco probably the most famous. Never pass on a chance to see Eli do his thing.
My tribute from a previous posting on Mr. Wallach in The Magnificent Seven can be found here.

Very sad news. Still, he left us a great legacy.
RIP
For sure. I also really liked his work in The Misfits.
