A special thank you goes out to Rupert Pupkin Speaks for inviting me to send over a list of five mystery titles that I would recommend to those looking to sit back and unwind. I had Rupert’s site bookmarked long before I ever started up my own project so this is indeed a nice treat for me.
Since I love to be nostalgic, I want to mention I saw the story of Rupert at the theater when it came out and loved it. Scorsese and DeNiro teaming up with Jerry Lewis was a must see in my house growing up. If you have never seen The King of Comedy, drop everything you are doing and go get a copy for your next movie night. Highly recommended.

Just had a look at your selection on Brian’s site. A good range of picks from a variety of eras and encompassing different styles. I like ’em all.

A tough ask though with so many good ‘tec/mystery movies out there. Nice to see Bronson featured.
Bronson a no brainer for me. Growing up he was the tough guy i followed film by film. St. Ives was a nice change of pace that is quite enjoyable.
Same here. As cool, tough guys go, he had few rivals.
