Actor’s inevitably seem to find themselves playing jolly old Saint Nick. Especially the ones with the expanding waistline. Folks like Edward Asner and Charles Durning. Every year sees a new addition to the gallery with the inevitable release of a yule tide flick. Skinny ones? Yes there have been a few of those aimed squarely at our funny bone. Nasty ones? Billy Bob Thornton fits the bill.

Speaking of Canada, the actor here starring as Louis Winthorpe III is having a real bad day in a Santa suit. “The Dukes… ruined my life… over a bet?”

I identified approximately, um, 1 of those. The heist movie I was thinking of that involved Santas wasn’t made in Canada, so can’t be the right one.
