This 1934 MGM release isn’t quite the light hearted happy go lucky film we are accustomed to seeing from the popular teaming of Myrna Loy and William Powell. No Asta either. This time out we have a bored couple with inevitable temptations thrust at both of them. Mix in a murder and we have a complicated trial on our hands. Rosalind Russell shows up as well to make her first screen appearance.
