I love hearing when “lost” films are rediscovered. It’s a form of archaeology. As a film crazed individual it’s naturally of huge interest when films resurface.

This apparently stars one William Gillette who was associated with the role on stage for many years in the early part of the 20th Century.
It’s his only film role as the master sleuth. Sherlockian societies around the globe must be rejoicing. Once it gets cleaned up and put out for the masses I’ll have to have a peek.
